Quickstart

Get from zero to a signed testnet transaction in a few steps. All values below match the current c12-testnet-1 deployment and the chain repo defaults.

1. Install a wallet

• Cosmos: Keplr — add chain manually or via the explorer registry when published.
• EVM: MetaMask — network chain id 12121 (0x2f59). See Wallets.

2. Fund the address

Request testnet uc12 from the faucet (no monetary value):

3. Pick an endpoint

4. Query chain id

5. Build c12d (optional — for local signing)

From Carbon12-Chain/chain:

make install
c12d version --long

Requires Go 1.25.9 per go.mod / ADR-0001.
